William Banting was the father to low carb diet, wich is very similar to the paleo diet. I really don’t like to call it a “diet”, because, it isn’t. It’s the way Your body was created to eat. For the last 500 years the agricultural revolution has switched our food intake from meat (protein & fat rich foods) to grains and carbohydrate rich food (pasta, rice, potato).

In low carb high fat You don’t eat that much fruit as you do with the paleo diet. Why? Fruit has a lot of sugar, the same sugar You find in soda, and that will raise our blood sugar levels wich trigger our bodies to create more insulin. Insulin will encapsulate our fat and the body will not burn that encapsulated fat. But, a fruit every day is ok, like bananas, apple and their like.
