Low Carb Diet is one of the most effective way to loose weight. It’s not about calories in or out. Carlories are only a measure of energy.

The most important hormone for weight is insulin. This hormone controls the body’s handling of foods such as sugar and fat. High levels may be fat cells to suck up nutrients from the blood and store them as fat. In addition, the “lock” the hormone was content of fat cells - they simply refuses to relinquish its contents so long as the levels of hormones in the blood is high.

It has been shown that obese people usually have high blood levels of insulin, in contrast to thin people who would normally have low levels. Large amounts of insulin in blood lead in length to weight gain in the form of fat. Sufficiently low concentrations has the opposite effect, and gives a weight loss.

You can easily affect the amount of insulin in your body by the food You eat. If You eat a lot of sugar and carbs you will have a fast increase of insulin in your blood. Fat and protein don’t get that stimulation of insulin production.

This is probably the reason why a low carb diet will give weight loss for obese people.

How To Start A Low Carb Diet

This is what you can eat:

eggs, in all shapes and forms

Fish and shellfish, fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring

Meat, lamb, game, pork, beef. Do not cut away the fat and choose healthy as much as possible locally and organically produced. Gräsuppfött beef is good for us, animals and nature.

Bird, chicken, turkey, grilled, fried in the oven, in pots. Keep it crunchy skin.

Sauces, dressings, mayonnaise, olive oil, canola oil (organic). Not fat or fat-reduced. Béarnaise, Hollandaise, read on the packages or make yourself.

Don’t eat to much of pasta, rice, potatoes, white flour.

William Banting was the father to low carb diet, wich is very similar to the paleo diet. I really don’t like to call it a “diet”, because, it isn’t. It’s the way Your body was created to eat. For the last 500 years the agricultural revolution has switched our food intake from meat (protein & fat rich foods) to grains and carbohydrate rich food (pasta, rice, potato).

In low carb high fat You don’t eat that much fruit as you do with the paleo diet. Why? Fruit has a lot of sugar, the same sugar You find in soda, and that will raise our blood sugar levels wich trigger our bodies to create more insulin. Insulin will encapsulate our fat and the body will not burn that encapsulated fat. But, a fruit every day is ok, like bananas, apple and their like.

Carbohydrates breaks down in the stomach into simple sugars before absorption in the intestine to the blood. This rising blood sugar which in turn increases the production of the hormone insulin. It is the body’s most “fat stored” hormone.

Insulin is produced in the pancreas. The larger amount of the hormone it prevents the body to burn fat and stores in excess of nutrients into fat cells. It can be a time (some hour) lead to a deficit of nutrients in the blood, which creates feelings of hunger, and a “taste for sweets”, after which You usually eat more. Then the whole process starts again, a vicious circle that is.

Low intake of carbohydrates in the diet gives the contrary, lower blood sugar levels and thereby lower insulin values. It increases the release of fat from fat tissue, and increases fat burning. This tends to gradually reduce body fat, particularly around the stomach of abdominal fat people. LCHF, Low Carbohydrate High Fat, make it easier for the body to live on the fat layers, then the release of these are not hindered by high insulin levels in the blood. There may be a reason that fat intake satisfied the feeling of hunger in the long term better than carbohydrate intake. The intake of calories tend generally to reduces in studying, when people may eat moderately on LCHF instead of “normal” food.

More on how to create Your own low carb diet plan.

As I see it, LCHF (low carb high fat), isn’t a diet at all. It is more of a lifestyle. This kind of “diet” often get mistaken for a “fad diet”. It’s not. The only thing You have to consider is IF you have diabetes and get medicin (insulin) for Your diabetes. If You have any form of diabetes and are taking medication then you must consult Your doctor. Why? Because Your bloodsugar will be much lower than if You eat carbs as usal.

Create Your Own Low Carb High Fat Meal Plan

It’s soo simple. Just remove everything in any recipe with more than 5% carbohydrates. The loss in calories can be obtained eating more fat. That’s right! You will learn Your body to burn fat instead of carbohydrates.

As You see, You will be eating carbs but less of them. Instead, You will eat more proteins and fat.

We will be updating, very soon, with more LCHF / low carb high fat articles.

75 - 25 - 5 Formula

When eating after the LCHF, Low Carb High Fat, diet you will eat 75 E% fat, 25 E% proteins and only 5 E% of carbs. E% is energy percentage. If You eat 2 000 calories per day, 75% should come from fat, 25% from proteins and 5% from carbs.

I need carbs

Actually, no … you don’t! For 10 000 years ago or 100 000 years ago, the humans didn’t have grains, rice or fast food resturants. What we had was food with lots of fat and proteins, like fish, sea food, veggis etc.

Go back to basics and Your body will transform into your ideal weight.

The best way to lose weight: Do not miss your meals!

You may be how happy at any time if you managed to remove all “belly fat” when You skip Your meals. This way to lose weight makes you set your body in starvation. A body that sets itself on starvation learn to conserve energy spent to get through the day. Then, when you start eating again, then your body will soak all the energy it can and store it for future use. Store it as fat, becaus, that is the energy reserv. You have taught your body that at some times the energy intake may disappear and then it is best to store up while it can.

This means that you are going up all the weight You just lost under your starvation, plus you’ll gain even more weight.

Actually, you should eat more small meals per day, but less calories than you will need. However, never less than 1,200 calories per day. When you eat several small meals per day, your body’s metabolism will increase. Another thing. Eat carb rich food for breakfast and then switch over to a more protein rich food to the evening (no carbohydrates). Drink plenty of water during the day. At least 8-9 glass of water. Exercise and you lose fluid that way, you need probably a couple of glasses of water more per day.

Remember! Fat loss is one thing, starvation another. Never ever starv yourself in your efforts in fat loss

You eat to many calories per day!

You can’t get rid of superfluous calories, energy, in the same way You can loose superfluous water. The calories that not transforms into energy will be stored in Your body as fat. It doesn’t matter where You get the calories, if they come from carbohydrates, protein or fat. Too many calories is to many calories. Your body has an excellent system who can store a large volumes of energy in a very tiny space, Your fat tissue. 2 lbs of fat is 7 000 - 9 000 kcal. That means. If You eat more than 7 - 9 000 kcal You will gain 2 lbs in fat. So, with only 200 kcal extra per day You will gain 2 lbs with fat in only six months.

How Do You Know You Eat More Calories Than You Consume?

It’s quite simpel. Your body has an excellent energy controlling system that shows You the balance between energy intake and energy You are consuming. Control if You gain weight or not! Your weight will expose if You eat more calories than You consume. Stay on Your wave and keep track on Your weight.

A diet meal plan that involves taking a pill to cut back your appetite isn’t the method to a successful weight loss. A diet meal plan specified as this provides you to slim down safely and systematically without jepordizing your health. Diet meal plans that assure to take off 5 to 10 pounds in a workweek is not good and should not be followed. A dieting meal plan can help in reducing caloric consumption appropriate to slim down, also as specify which foods may be advised diet-friendly foods.

Consuming the wrong food gives you incomplete nutrition and makes you consume augmented because your body is telling you it needs augmented vital ingredients. Eating lots of foods rich in fibre helps keep food moving through your bowels. Just like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel full. Eating correctly practising pre-planned recipes that contain foods that strengthen instead of sabotage and bloat your system are vital. Productive dieting are about being prepared with suitable quantities of sound food in all situations.

Pick out foods that appeal to your tastes and don’t forget to be creative! Bread Is not the single whole grain on the food market, there’s bulgur, cous cous, and quiona and more.

Select a weight loss programme that fits your own lifestyle and personality. A lot of people like to have a entire month of specified menus laid out, along with ingredients and recipes. One programme that comes with a weight loss manual is Lifestyle Balanced Solutions
